I have been accepted to all three of these business schools. I now am having trouble deciding which school to attend.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So which is the best school out of these? Which school is more known? Which is the best for me? I plan on majoring in management, economics, or international business.

Bryant has accepted me into its honors program and will give me 64,000 over 4 years to total 112,000

Babson did not give any scholarship. Over 4 years I would pay 216,000

Bentley will give a 1/3 tuition scholarship but I did not get into their honors program as a freshman. Over 4 years I would pay 156,000.

Again any advice would be awesome. Thank you in advance.

I don't think I answered anything. I am simply explaining the situation. I am asking for other's opinion. Based on the quality of the schools, what would be a good choice? For example is it worth to go to Bentley for 44,000 more over Bryant? Thanks for the response I guess.

I believe that Bentley and Babson are viewed as being a bit stronger than Bryant, but the difference is not that great and many people speak of the three together. Part of that is probably that Bentley and Babson are in Boston suburbs while Bryant is in a suburb of Providence.

but whatever the difference is, I don't think it is worth the difference in cost in light of the financial aid you've been offered at Bryant.

And Bryant has a much better lacrosse team (Div I).

I would go to either Bentley or Bryant. If money is really important I would not hesitate to go to Bryant. If you are comfortable paying for Bentley, I would pick Bentley over Bryant. Bentley's students are a bit stronger and you have access to Boston for a social life as well as for internships. I think that at Babson you have many more international and extremely wealthy students. It is a bit remote, although Boston is possible. All 3 campuses are beautiful.

I would pick Bentley. It has a stronger reputation than Bryant (which is kind of seen as a party school disguised as a business school around my area) and a stronger social life than Babson.

I would definitely pick Babson as my choice. Bentley is a good school, but Babson is a great school. It is even ranked higher than Bentley. Babson is a way better choice!

I would say Bentley for the perceived better social atmosphere compared to Babson and its slightly better reputation compared to Bryant. However, Bryant is also a good choice for the money. Good luck!

Thank you for the responses! I have narrowed it done to Bryant and Bentley. Money is not really a problem but I would like that $40,000 in my pocket instead of the University. I would like to invest that money after college. Bryant also accepted me into its Honors Program. How significant is that in terms of my education? I realize that Bentley is a better institution but how big is the difference. Basically I am asking, is it really worth giving up what Bryant has offered? Thanks again.

My daughter was in the same situation as you three years ago. Only difference she was waitlisted at Babson. Offered honors at Bryant with about the same $$ as you. Offered 1/3 scholarship to Bentley. Always felt Bentley was a better fit for her.

As parents, we could not just dismiss the difference between $$. I did call Bentley and let them know that my daughter's top choice was Bentley, but Bryant gave her a better offer. They were very nice and told me to fax over the Bryant offer, but did not think they could match it. They called me the next day and stated they really wanted my daughter to attend, but could not increase her offer. That was three years ago and you may want to give it a shot. What they did point out was that Bentley's scholarship is 1/3 tuition which increases as tuition increases, were as Bryant's is fixed.

My computer keeps logging out of CC, so I will post and finish in another post.

We sat my daughter down and told her if she wanted to go to Bentley she would have more debt. She has two sisters right behind her, so always knew she would be responsible for some of her own education. She decided to go to Bentley and is very happy with her decision. She is an accounting major. Has a paid intership this summer for a top accounting firm in Boston. If everything goes well, she will have a job offer before entering her senior year. She plans on continueing with the 5 year program by working and attending the summer, summer program at Bentley. Her roommate just finished a spring internship with a top accounting firm in Boston this week and was offered a position.

I agree that Bentley is a stronger school. My daughter was 20th in her class of around 300. One night during her first semester she called crying. She was telling me that she was one of the dumbest kids at Bentley. She quickly overcame that and now has a 3.7GPA. It is not an easy school. My middle daughter was accepted to Bentley for fall 2009. She is 15th out of about 300 and had a slightly higher SAT than her sister. She did not receive a scholarship! This tells me that Bentley's students stats are increasing every year.

Babsons great but I would never go there, very international and very cut throat, Bentleys pretty good but their campus is a pain to get around. going up and down a hill to get to class every day gets very annoying. I would choose bryant. Beautiful campus, amazing job placement, D1 sports, great location-a town close to providence but not actually a "city" school, i believe their campus got #1 safest school in the nation? you can check me on that but im pretty sure i saw that somewhere. also a much better social atmosphere than the 3. the 3 schools are so close that you can't choose it on which ones better, the thing that can help you in prestige is this, bentley and babson get lost in the mass schools because theres so many great schools in mass. They arent even considered top 10. While bryant stands out in RI, its considered the 3rd best.

Hi, I have been to Bentley University and I have to say its the worse experience every which is why I had transferred to Babson College. I wanted to point out that Bentley University is not difficult to get into and as a result there seem to be a lot of loud and obnoxious people that make your experience hell. I know many people who have went there who share my same experience. It is also not worth the 45,000 dollars, because Bentley University Ranking in business (business week official ranking) continues to drop. If you can give me a list of your colleges that you have applied to I can help you choose a better one. They don’t offer much of an scholarship or any financial aid.

Many people say that Bentley University has a good reputation. Not at all! I have applied to many business firms, and many have not even heard of Bentley and consider it an average school. They consider Pace University, Baruch, Suffolk University, and Emmanuel College better. Bentley University also gives you a hard time if you chose to transfer out. I had to spend three weeks with them just to transfer out. It is like living in hell in that campus. They don’t have any strong majors. If you need help let me know but please don’t go to Bentley University. If you have any concerns, or questions, please reply back.

I would go to Bentley, I spoke to several students and they really like it. Did not hear any negatives at all. One post from above…I would be careful.

I read your new post that it is between Bentley and Bryant. If I were you I would go to Bryant. You would graduate from their honors program which is far more acknowledgable than graduating from a regular undergraduate program and you get more money. Whether or not you are concerned about the money, in today’s economic state every dollar counts toward something. Good luck!

Funny, I went to Bryant and had all the same choices. I am President of a company that went from 14 million in 1983 to a billion this year. Always thought Bryant was the sleeper in the bunch. Now with Div ! sports and the amazing campus opportunities there has never been a better time to go to Bryant. Anyway my 2 cents, size of the campus plus the fact they actually get it on the international side of business to me a no brainer.
