College Board Blue Book - Accurate?

Hey everyone, I'm a junior and I'm going to be taking the SAT in May, and I was wondering how close the practice tests in the Blue Book come to the real SAT.

Thanks!

Those are as close as you're going to get, considering they're published by the same company that gives the actual SAT.

A little harder, especially in the math section.

Hmm, I guess I got REALLY unlucky (or most likely, distracted) on the March SAT, then. I usually scored 800 M in the Blue Book, but ended up making a couple mistakes on the real thing. Overall, my actual SAT score was lower than all my practice tests from the blue book :-( Anyone else have a similar experience?

I scored at the low end of my blue-book range both times when I took the actual test. This could just be random, however.

The CR score was pretty accurate give or take 20 max....The math score was lower than my actual SAT was by a good 50...and the Writing section was A LOT higher than the actual SAT- i think the writing score ranges are way too high in the blue book. Overall, I scored better on the SAT especially since when youre at the test site your much more serious and know that you cant check your answers and fix them later.
