Apparently about 4,500 of the 34,000 scores on SAT II Chem exams were wrong. My grade went up. I was like Wahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i took the SAT II in chem in june.....is it worth checking to see if maybe they scored it wrong? or did they contact you first?

No, they did not contact me. I just was visiting my collegeboard.com organizer a few days ago, and I noticed that my chem score was 760 instead of 750 and I was like, whoa, I'm sure I got a 750. They just suddenly changed it last week after many months. I called because I don't want to put the wrong score on my coll. application, and they told me that they just discovered the problem. I have to wonder if there was one problem that was wrong that some genius brought to their attention - you never know. They said it affected 4,500 out of about 34,000 tests. They didn't say if it was just June. In any case, I already applied to college EA and put the wrong score. I don't want the college to think that I am stupid for putting the wrong score. They said they are going to notify the colleges but I have to wonder if they will or not.

It must be great to learn you scored better! But the CB people never stop impressing me with their stupidity

My score went down! From 730 to 710!

Edited to add: but I took Chem in May. ***?

i took chem in may and my score remained a 760

Mine didn't change either...?
