<p>I am utterly stunned. Get rid of AP Comp Sci AB? What are they thinking? We don't have enough students with substantive CS skills as it is!!!</p>

<p>D was going to take Latin Virgil next year and then Latin Lit the year after. That's the order usually done in her school. Do others usually go in that order? Any issues with reversing (besides convincing the teacher)</p>

<p>French is being eliminated from our [small] school gradually as enrollment is down, ramping up Mandarin Chinese instead.</p>

<p>Actually I wish they would have cut Comp Sci earlier. My son took Computer Science I and liked it. There was no "Computer Science II" class offered at his high school - only AP Comp Sci....the teacher has to teach more to the exam, so my son has not enjoyed it as much.</p>
