College Board SAT reports

Hello Everyone, this is my first post. I hope I'm putting it in the right place.

On the College Board website where it lists the middle 50 SAT's for a particular school, it says the numbers are for "admitted and enrolled" students. Does that mean the numbers provided are only for those students who accepted the school's offer? Or does it also count students who were admitted but decided to go elsewhere? At first glance it seems obvious it means only those students attending, but then isn't using the word "admitted" redundant since the enrolled students were obviously admitted?

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Correct the first time.
Admitted - AKA accepted. It means the school offered you a spot.
Enrolled - It means you accepted their offer and are planning on attending, which usually requires some sort of deposit.

Yes, to be enrolled you had to be admitted so I suppose that is a bit confusing. They are trying to distinguish the list from those who were admitted but chose not to attend.

Could either of you be so kind as tell me where that info resides on the CB’s site? I haven’t seen it and I would love to take a look at it. Thanks!

After you search on a specific college and get to that college’s page, there’s a tab near the top of the page that says “see if you’re on track.” Once you click on that link, click on “how do I stack up?”

oncollegehunt–Thank you! Reading the earlier post, I mistakingly thought the site would report both accepted students’ stats AND enrolled students’ stats. I am guessing that these enrolled students’ stats will align with the figures reported on the CDS.

Interesting tool nonetheless. Thanks for explaining.
