<p>I feel bad for him now, he must feel like garbage :( Collegeboard royally screwed up, but he was lead to believe that the SAT was the be all and end all. He should not have limited his college choices becasue of a single bad test. A 1400+ is plenty good enough to apply to any college, even the top tier. Nearly all colleges take the highest score in a single sitting or a combined composite score, many would not pay much attention to the 1290.</p>
<p>Dell101 sorry to hear that .... It would be in your best interest to sue collegeboard ... the next 4 years of your son's life depend on his SAT scores .</p>

<p>Yesterday, the College Board sent me a polite email with an apology, also refunding my test fee and the college-sending fee, due to the error in grading. (I went up 10 CR) CB also sent updated score reports to all the colleges I had scores sent to, as well as my school. </p>
<p>I think they've tried to keep the scandal from exploding pretty well...soo...yeah</p>
