College Board Sending Scores, too late?

The College Board website says it takes 3-5 weeks to ship the scores to your schools, and the November 30 deadline means I've gotta get my stuff to the UCs and I will be late in regards to SATs. Is it all over for me? I'm not going to get into college?!?!?! THIS CANT BE HAPPENING TO ME!!!1

Oh God No!! I've Tried So Hard And I Wont Get Into College Now This Is The Worst Day Of My Life!!!

there is always CC

First, notify the college and let them know what's happening.

Second, the CollegeBoard can be lying sacks when it comes to ship times. They've delivered all of our reports in less than three weeks.

Third, relax. Even if you never go to college, the world still won't come to an end. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Fourth, did you really wait until October of your senior year to take the SAT?

You might want to double-check this, but I was under the impression that UCs only require self-reported scores for now...then when you're accepted you send them the official scores.

Maybe I'm confused with something else. Can someone else confirm this?

If I'm wrong and got your hopes up, I'm really sorry.

... and now that I look at the dates, if you asked your scores for the October test to be sent to the UC, they should be there already. Didn't you send your scores when you took the test?

OH GOD... NO I DIDNT I FORGOT.. HOW COULD I HAVE Been so stupid!!1 MY LIFE IS RUINED O GOD I AM CRYING JESUS !! WHY DI DI HAVE TO WAIT TILL OCTOBER!!1

You're worrying unnecessarily... when I was surfing the MIT website, an admissions official said the December SAT would reach them on time, in response to a student's inquiry.

MIT's admission deadline is Jan 1

Ok so maybe I don't know why the California University sytem works... but I don't think it's the end of the world if you don't get into a UC college... there are so many good colleges... look at University of Michigan... it's admission deadline for most colleges is Feb 1. It's ranking in USNews is very similar to UCB, give or take three schools. I mean, relax! I am not even applying to a UC school. Are you a California resident? That would explain your preference for Cal schools... I read they are preferential towards residents. Also much cheaper.

CHILL and contact your school, THEN freak out if necessary.
