One of my colleges sent me a letter which suggested that I begin my PROFILE with College Board.

I know this college would like me to, but for other schools, when are we supposed to start? Do I choose all of my colleges even if they haven't told me to do a PROFILE?

Thanks!

well I would suggest looking on the collegeboard website and doing a college search. Then looking at that schools policy as far as financial aid. Collegeboard.com will usually say if a school requires a CSS Profile or not. I wouldn’t suggest sending it to schools that don’t require it because for certain people the CSS Profile costs money and to send it to,say, about 6 colleges could cost like $100(unless you have a fee waiver).

Collegeboard is so money grubbing. I mean, paying to just fill it out and send it to schools? Pshh…

I feel like College Board is taking my blood and laughing ):

Thanks for your help Shacoria–I found all of my colleges that want the PROFILE.

I have a last question, if my parents own a business, should I indicate that they own one? I know that for certain applications there is an income floor on a specific amount of revenue. Does anyone know if the PROFILE is the same? The store my parents own generates all of their income, however, it does not produce much profit.
