I will be graduating this year... yet I am not sure where I am going to end up. I am on the top 5% of my school, GPA would be >4 after I receive my credits from my 3 AP classes. I came to the U.S. 4 years ago. As you can see on the title I am undocumented, I am unable to receive financial aid and take advantages of some opportunities due to my status...

My sat scores reach up to 600 in math & 500 on the English part. But I can communicate fluently in 3 different languages. I have been working during summer to help my mother and my little sister. I did volunteer work as well while playing tennis for my high school and being part of the National Honor society.

As of today I am just waiting to take the AP exams on May, I only got accepted to the nearest community college on my area. I would like to go a a suitable business school considering my situation. My self motivation is decreasing as I approach graduation, I have received little help. I really want to continue with my education but I dont know what to do, and this is why I created and account here and check some responses.
Thanks for your time to read this.

Well, is college offered in your country of origin? Some college is better than none…And, you have already received a free education in the US, make the most of what you have, work, become a US citizen, and then you can get fin. aid. (which isn’t much from the fed. gov. anyway) and go to college later. You have a long life…it doesn’t all have to happen right now. There are plenty of US citizens in the same boat basically.

Plenty of very intelligent people begin at community college, transfer to a four year school, and go on to graduate work. It’s less prestigious, sure, but it’s also a lot less expensive.

Determination. You have it.
Most of us can tell a personal story. Nothing ever comes easy.
Nothing wrong with a CC. Most of us had parents who never had the opportunity.

I hope that you do well in community college. but what is the point of going to college if you are undocumented? you can’t get a job without SS# so it’s a waste of $. the dream act is not going to be passed especially in this economic times. the smartest choice would go straight to work for 1 year so you can save some $. After that, you should apply for a student visa, which then will allow you to apply for more school (some do give aid to international applicants). don’t give up hope. you don’t have to go to college to be successful. look at all the youtubers that are making more $ than doctors. a lot of them didn’t even graduate yet

I assume one of them is that spoken in your country of citizenship? If so, like others have said, if you want a college education and a job, your best bet is to apply to colleges in your country of citizenship. If you want to return to the U.S., major in engineering and apply for a job with a U.S. company that will sponsor you.

Another option might be to get married to a US citizen asap. Otherwise, if you stay here your only option will be to work illegally or live off of other peoples’ incomes if you don’t want to commit fraud. You are in a tough position but you do have options. You are tri-lingual and will have a diploma from an American high school, and that is probably worth more than a little in the job market in your country of citizenship.
