College Chances/Which ACT?

Hi all! I feel really awkward posting this on the forum, but I'm honestly curious on which ACT score I should send to my prospective colleges, or if I should send both. I've taken the test thrice, with a 34 the first and third time, and a 33 the second time. I'm disregarding the 33 because it was horrible, but it is the 34s that I am having a problem with. I'm an aspiring business/english major (I want to go into law), so I don't know which scores will look better when i send in scores; any input would be great! I could send in both, but I don't know which is better because of the low science.

FIRST TEST
E:35
M:35
R:34
S:33

SECOND TEST
E:36
M:36
R:35
S:28 (I got lucky on science the first time :( )

Because I am not going into the sciences, will having such a low score in it affect me? I also took the SAT. I scored a 2190, with 760 CR, 720 M, and 710 W. This was without any prep or practice testing, and so I am planning on taking it again in the fall.

I am looking at Northwestern, WashU, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, Boston U, Cornell, Illinois, Ohio State, Creighton, Indiana, and Loyola. Merit-based schollies will play a huge role in my decision, but WashU is my number 1.

Sorry that this is so long! If you have the chance, I would love a response. Thanks!

I would send all scores as a 33 is by no means horrible and you have the GPA and ECs to get into any of those schools. Just write a good essay and you are set.

I didn’t mean to sound ungrateful :frowning:
I just went down in every single section. But I’m pretty happy to even have gotten these; totally unexpected. Is it worth it to send SAT?

I would send each school what they ask for. If they ask for all your test scores then send them all your test scores.

Thanks for the help! I’m really just nervous about my chances at WashU, Northwestern, and Notre Dame, because my parents insist that I stay in the midwest unless I’m offered nearly a full-ride :). I’m definitely applying EA to Notre Dame, but the other two only have ED.

Also, would it be worth applying Ivy? Thanks so much!

Since WashU is your top choice, make sure to show them a lot of interest. They’re really into that.

Thanks! Yeah, I have heard that from a lot of kids at my school. Our valedictorian with a 36 and many ECs got waitlisted because he didn’t interview or have contact with our admissions rep. I’ve already emailed the rep and talked to him multiple times, but it is nerve-wracking nevertheless.

Oh and I don’t know if this makes a difference, but I am a Caucasian female and have an unweighted GPA of 5.0…just looking at other people’s chance forums and realized that I didn’t have a few things!!
