College Chances?

Hey so I was wondering to which colleges I should apply. I am a junior right now, well really senior because my school just got out. I have a 4.3 gpa, 3.98 unweighted, 34 act, I just took my SAT, still waiting for the score. I took one AP test last year: (Us History) and 6 this year. I got a five on USH, and probably similar on my other APs. Next year I am taking all AP classes, as well as Chemistry at a local college (Ohio State University) and Band. As far as extra curricular-s go:
All years: Marching band, jazz band, Mock Trial
Soph+Junior: model un, Cross country
Junior: Robot Club, Class Treasurer, Freshman Mentor
Member of Cum Laude Society
I got a couple of honors in Mock Trial, Model UN and robot club, am a squad leader (self explanatory leadership thing) for band. I also intend to keep doing all of these next year (was reelected treasurer) and will be president of Model UN, Mock Trial and Robot Club next year. I have also worked as a lifeguard if that is of interest.
I have no idea where to apply to college. I was thinking harvey Mudd and like stanford MIt etc. Suggestions? Thoughts? Concerns? Comments? Enraged Outbursts?
*also excuse my writing, I may or may not currently be inebriated

Also I am doing Science fair next year

Great GPA. Try taking SAT II tests as well.

For your EC’s, be more involved OUTSIDE of school. Find a volunteer organization, or attend a University-sponsored summer program.

I think you have a good shot at Harvey Mudd and Stanford, if you do well on your SAT’s.

As for MIT, you need to work harder, as it is one of the toughest schools to be admitted to. Try the Google Science Fair or Intel Science Fair.

Chance me!

Your stats make you competative at top colleges (though this by no means gaurantees admission.)
If your into sciences, you might as well drop off an invitation MIT and Caltech.
Btw, what can you afford?

Your academics are good, but as you know, at those caliber schools, you’ll need a lot more than academics to get in. You don’t really show demonstrated interest in anything, but since you’re thinking MIT, Harvey Mudd, Stanford, etc., I’m guessing something math/science related. Your ECs really don’t show too much interest in that except the robot club, so I would get on that.

Ok, well yes you guessed correctly about maths and sciences for the most part. I am however, also into humanities (law and economics. **** english) As far as SAT IIs I haven’t taken any but intend to take ones in Math II, Chem and Physics. And I also forgot that this summer I am taking an engineering camp at OSU. Unfortunately the only science ECs we have at our school are Robot club (which I helped to start) and Science Olympiad (which my buddy started, but it conflicts heavily with Mock Trial and so I wont do it). I was wondering if it was bad to be spread out across so many disciplines, rather than concentrating in just one thing. Is it bad to hav
e many interests?
