I'm thinking about Berkeley -California , Univeristy oF California, university of Tampa? Baylor university Are they out of reach as well??

I can only comment on UC Berkley and I am assuming UCLA?? with a current GPA 3.0 they are way out of reach. If you are out of California, you need a minimum of a 3.4 GPA to apply. If you are really interested in California, there are 21 Cal States and many private schools to consider.

University of Tampa would be within reach as it’s not very selective.
Baylor: are you a serious Baptist?
the UC’s are out of reach - you need a 3.4 to be even considered (and higher to get in).

How much can your parents afford? Will you need financial aid? Merit aid?

I’d prefer LMU, Chapman, Whittier… to the CSU’s because they’re too commuter for someone from out of state - except for SDSU (etc) but OP doesn’t have the stats to get in, and HUmboldt but OP might not enjoy the air breathed there.
(or then again, might enjoy it too much…)

we’ll need some more info, OP. in addition to above: state of residence and what your needs are in a college.

New York and So far I’m a junior
And yeah serious baptist/Pentecostal

Can My GPA change to get into UCLA by Senior yr

No your GPA will not get you into UCLA even with an upward trend that gets you to 3.4.

Howeer if you’re a serious Baptist, you should look into Baylor indeed (reach), perhaps TCU (match), Wheaton (IL) and Calvin (those two would be reaches), too, Samford (match).

Can you afford those schools? Have you looked at the costs yet?
