ACT- 32 (retake, hopefully 33)should I take subject tests?

Any suggestions of things that will strengthen my resume?
Also, suggestions for colleges that would fit me well?
I'm currently looking at: St. Olaf College, Marquette University, Wisconsin Madison, Denver University, Loyola College Maryland, Creighton, Colgate. What are my chances of getting into these colleges? Should I even waste my time applying to reachs? (do NOT want to go to wisconsin, but money may play a role there)

Opinions and advise appreciated!

I forgot to include work related stuff- I am an Ice-rink attendant over the winters (sitting in warming house) so I'm assuming that will play virtually no role. I'm in the honor society at my school and assume I will be in next year for National Honor society

I really haven't heard a lot about those schools. But I think you should apply to some reaches because you seem like a fairly strong applicant.

I'm sorry I keep forgetting things that I probably should include. I'm taking up rowing this summer which could be really fun, which is the reason I'm doing it. But also, its a sport that most people aren't involved in so I think it helps set me apart.

Also, I have a math teacher this year who writes excellent rec letters, and he is an alum at St. Olaf.

i would add some reaches as well, what was the SAT?

I didn't take the SAT, all of the colleges I looked at in the midwest and in the east were fine with converting ACT to SAT if necessary.

Would any of you suggest taking SAT subject tests? I'm thinking about applying so some of the colleges in the east like Colgate, Middlebury, Bowdoin, etc. Are they required there?

Add more reaches. You're ECs are pretty solid, you have a great GPA and a great ACT. You may want to take SAT IIs so you can open yourself up to some of the better schools. You're list is filled with safeties. I can't see you not getting into any of those that you've listed. You should even add more matches. Some matches for you: Michigan, Boston College. Then there are high matches like northwestern, chicago, Washington U in STL, some eastern schools (I'm trying to stay midwest for you). I'd definitely apply to 1-3 of the lower ivies (Dartmouth, Penn, cornell, columbia, brown).

EDIT: I didn't see that you're open to eastern schools. You have very solid stats so SAT IIs would definitely be worth it. You SHOULD take them, as, like you said, many of the upper echelon require them and you definitely have a shot.

Anyone else? advice is appreciated

any particular reason as to why the state flagship is not in your list?

your chances are very good in the colleges you listed. And if you're applying to mostly midwest schools, I don't think you need to take any SAT2's.
