I'm not really worried about the facebook........... mostly I'm worried if college check your ineternet history......bcuz I accidently click on a inappropriate site and kinda watched it.........den I kept watchingit......... so I wonder if they can check it through my itouch/phone/desktop through wifi and peronal network

…

No, I don’t think they do that.

They used to not, but they do sometimes nowadays.

One of my friends tricked me into clicking on an inappropriate link. Even though I didn’t watch it, I got an e-mail from my school a few days later that I was put under academic probation and furthermore would have to suspend enrollment for a semester after I completed the current semester.

It was lame, but they did do it, and they’ll probably do it for you too.

Use a proxy and protected browser. xD

I know when I was in school, I was kicked off the Universitys server for downloading music from Limewire. You would be surprised how much they know and can see.

At my own personal wifi/home…thry can see that much? Bad grammer I noe

OHH, if we’re talking about on the college’s internet, then yes I think they could probably see what you’re looking at.

They may be able to see things you do on the college’s internet network. They can NOT see what you do at home. People seem to be messing with you.

Were not talking the university internet…were taliking about my wifi and personal network

No, they cannot see what you do on your personal network.

No. Unless Colleges convince google to sell you your information, they can’t do that.

But they do check Facebook/Myspace/College Confidential(can track students down if they provide too much information)

Haha, I doubt they will go to the effort of finding every person who says they will apply on that college’s forum, search their history for individual information, then compare to every applicant. Look how big the “________ University Hopefuls 201X” threads are. Anyway, I could be tracked down in this method, with enough work, but I’m not worried about any of my posts anyway.

Wow, some people create new users every day.

Lulz, that would explain it.

Big brother is always watching.

ive heard of colleges checking facebook. But as far as internet history I doubt it

They backtrace anyone and everyone and the consequences will never be the same

Bad spelling too. No spell check?

And no; I doubt they’d care even if they could.

???
What did he make you click, like a terrorism 101 video? When do schools DO that? Seriously!

^Either that or kiddie porn.
