College Choice Advice, Physics; High School Junior

Hi, I have a few questions about realistic college choices based on my somewhat unusual situation.. I'll start out by saying that I'm very interested in Physics beyond high school, with a focus on astrophysics. My goal is to find the college that will provide the following: Decent Scholarship, Strong Physics program, A Chance For An Internship, Lab, Or Co-Op equivalent. Here are my current statistics.

GPA: 3.1
ACT: 34
SAT: 2130
PSAT: 196

I'm mostly worried about the loss of scholarship opportunities due to my stunted GPA. I understand there are schools out there willing to overlook a GPA, but I'm not sure where you draw the line in Price vs. Quality. I'm very intelligent (154 IQ, consistently high test scores) and I don't want to disappoint my parents, and more importantly myself. I have consistently taken rigorous courses including: all math up to Multivariable Calculus, AP physics 2, and honors history and English both Freshman and Sophomore years. I'm a current Junior. Thank you for your time.

I don’t have any specifics - I too am only a high schooler with limited knowledge about colleges - but if you REALLY need scholarships state schools and lower ranking ones are the way to go. Places where you would be considered one of their top students. I hate to say it, but most schools do base scholarships pretty much solely on high school gpa or sports.

same boat - low gpa high test scores…sigh
