I have a college choice question that I was hoping to get opinions for. I have narrowed down my top two college choices to either Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and Harvey Mudd College.

Could you guys let me know what your thoughts are, regarding generic pros and cons of going to either school? It would be veryful helpful to have in mind when I am making my final decision.

Why make up your mind now? Unless you are going ED, why not apply to both, visit both and see what (if any) merit aid you receive. RH is an amazing school, but it is not in a budding metropolis. Because it takes kids with potential (notice the greater range of SAT scores) I think it is a place that makes good kids great. The professors are excellent at teaching.
I don’t know anything about HM other than it is part of the Claremont Colleges and it is a top school.
