<p>This is a shout out to the moderators - thanks to experience on this great site, and some definite pushing from mom, DS has 2 rolling acceptances! Can we start an official thread?? I don't want to just start one, shouldn't it follow a format!! Yay for DS.</p>
<p>Here's an adaptation of information posted by another moderator in last year's thread. By popular request, the Master List of Acceptances thread is now open for this year's college applicants. We'll call them "Class of '13," but anyone with an acceptance to announce this season (transfer, 5-year program, even grad school) is welcome to post.</p>
<p>GROUND RULES: </p>
<p>This thread is not for discussions or congratulations, only for listing acceptances. There is another thread for discussing acceptances and supporting each other, and for offering congratulations. </p>
<p>Please respect this ground rule. This thread will be stickied; the linked thread will float up and down as participants add posts. </p>
<p>To participate, add a line at the top of your post announcing your news, copy any list that already exists, then add your name (someone will be sure to alphabetize regularly), your student's gender if you wish, and the school where they were accepted. Add (ED) or (EA) if that's appropriate. As new acceptances come in, just copy the list and add to your existing line. Last year the list got too large to copy, so it was broken into two lists alphabetically. We have some time before we have to do that.</p>

<p>OK, I asked for it, I bullied my son into getting his apps done, and he, thank heaven, is probably all rolling admissions, so here goes - (as an aside, he went to an Honors College reception last night, and actually came home expressing some interest and enthusiasm for classes, esp small classes and liberal arts classes, imagine that, so there is hope for all you parents of boys, now he just has to squeak out that last necessary ACT point in order to qualify, one stinking point!)</p>
