Hi all,

I recently put up a post about the effect of bad grades on my chances
of getting into competitive schools. I had a rough time during first semester
junior year, due to family and a death of a friend. I was wondering whether
taking the classes that I got bad grades in at a local community college
would maybe compensate for the damage. I know that the whole point is to
prove to colleges that you can handle college courses. Will taking community
college classes be helpful, or is it not worth doing?
