<p>My daughters (soph and fresh) will be attending the Crash B's next month. Will there be recruiters there? Is she allowed to talk to them off campus? We intend to visit Harvard, BC, BU, UMass Amh and Northeastern. Is she allowed to meet with coaches on campus? I believe he has a recruitable erg time as a sophomore.</p>
<p>Neither are allowed to talk to the coaches, either on or off campus. That contact starts junior year. And yes, LOTS of college coaches from around the country go. Though if they aren’t there, they’re going to look online at the results.</p>
<p>Coaches are not allowed to speak to potential recruits off campus until senior year, so they will not speak to your daughter. Your daughter can set up meetings with the coaches when she is visiting the schools and they can speak to her at then. Official recruiting doesn’t start until July 1st prior to senior year. That is when coaches can initiate contact with potential recruits.</p>
