<p>Cornell University in Ithaca has numerous concerts, all types. There are concerts of their orchestras, ensembles, all sorts of student groups and graduate students. The school is as close to a conservatory as one can get without going to a conservatory.</p>
<p>Plus, right next door is Ithaca College which has a conservatory and numerous concerts. The two schools often work together informally, musicians at one school often participate in concerts at the other.</p>
