College Confidential: Get Your Act Together

Hello staff of CC, as far as College Confidential is concerened, this is the most important time of year. This is no time to have your site crashing every hour or so, with the most traffic all year long. It's time to invest in a new server or something; it's crunch time, and CC needs to get its act together. During the ED period it crashed, and now during the RD period it crashed, the most important times. Step it up!

This thread is go getting deleted

And you are sooo getting banned. Don't you know that its a No No to speak up against CC policies and moderators?

Shows what type of an enviornment we all frequent here.

Not gonna fly well given that, you know, you use the site for free. Heavy traffic can be a #$@% to deal with.

it's prolly for CC's good as well; imagine how many advertising dollars they lose when the site crashes. CC has become a cultural phenomenon ammoung high schoolers (mentioned in many news articles) and it needs to step it up a level professionally.

Well, he does have a point...it isn't exactly the best time of year for CC to be down, for anyone involved.

It's like having a security teddy bear snatched from my fingertips... I do not appreciate this. Arrgh, say I.

Just an update everyone; college confidential, you have performed miraculously since i first posted this complaint. Thank you very much for staying online during this very intense time.

...yea, I'm sure they read your comment, and specifically said "ok, this guy wants it back up...so let's do it!"...

Duh. That's how it works.

it actually wasn't as bad as the ED. I think pretty much everyone was expecting some trouble today with the combination of RD and SAT scores...

imho if you want your complaint to be taken seriously by the mods, you should just send a formal e mail asking politely that they do something about whatever you don't like.

If someone demaded that I do something in the way you did, I'd think twice before complying.
