CC makes me feel like a weakling at times lol. Maybe if I would have tried harder in freshman year, I’d have at least a 3.9 instead of the ~3.83 that i’ll have at the end of junior year. But, as I stated earlier, thanks to CC I now know what self-studying is and I also now know who I’ll be competing against next year lol. I also know what hooks are (and that I have 3. thank you parental units :)) and I feel a lot better about the colleges that I’ll be applying to next year.
Oh, and CC keeps me highly entertained, especially during school and on breaks. Lol.

Doing stuff you hate over what you actually want (meaningless local competitions over TASP) is another point CC hammers into you head after a year or so. Oh, and “love thy safety”.

CC is really only the one place where I can go and freak out about GPAs, college applications, and SAT scores … and people won’t roll their eyes at me and say, “Shut up, you’ve already got a good score, and no one cares.” None of my friends will even listen to me if I complain about my abysmally low PSAT score, or advise me on how to get into my dream college. No one else will worry about the SATs but the people on College Confidential.

It’s made me realize that I’m not the smartest, by a loooong shot. There are people who volunteer for hours on end, people who dedicate time to get that unweighted 4.0, people who won’t be fine with “just enough.”

Oh, and being able to review my answers to the PSAT after I took the test really helped me estimate my score.

But there’s one aspect that still bothers me: how some posters sound like they’re reading from a thesaurus. Just saying.

Asian, you stole the words right out of my mouth. Joz was such an annoying word smith.

@Cali, i know! All my friends don’t really care for school except for maybe 2 and, all the others who care about school are the stereotypical antisocial nerds. CC has some regular who people who love school so, it makes me happy.
