I was wondering maybe we can set a date/time/location for all of us CCer’s to meet up in real life after we move back to UVA. I am not sure whose up for this idea but i definately am. I guess some of us rather not let each other know who we are in real life, but to those that are willing, lets arrange a meet! I am still new to UVA so i cannot propose a location/time/date but i just wanted to throw the idea out there.

enough talking, time to start ze list.
We will arrange it by Name | Year | Real name (if u want, or u can save it for the meet) | Origin

pman, most of the people on CC prefer to keep their identities a secret. I don't think you'll find many people, if any for this. Just a warning. :)

Anonymity. It's one of the great things about the internet. who knows, cav may be a male supermodel. Or shoe may be a track star. ;)

I used to do track and field, actually. Way to blow my cover.

I'm not keen onto this. There are a few people on here I'd love to meet and show around though, if they wanted. I think they know who they are and aren't. But I'm not a fan of everyone knowing me and being able to track me down on grounds.

757 is the area code of norfolk, va. besides, I think they strongly, strongly, strongly recommend not flying after you're 6-7 months pregnant. as in not letting you on the plane type recommend.

Funny you mention that, a couple of months ago during check in a lady was told she was too pregnant to board the plane, not a happy camper after that.

PHYS 551: quantum computing and information
PHYS 321: Mechanics - Joe Poon
PHYS 355: Quantum I - Vaman
MATH 577: Bilinear Forms and Grp Represent - Rapinchuck
CS 205: Software Engineering - Reynolds
ECON 201: Macro Econ - Elzinga

Holy crap! That schedule is so dirty! Btw, ehiunno, did you have to get on a waitlist for Elzinga? I'm closing in on 3 weeks waiting on Elzinga. I'm about to bust open Elzinga's door and say "let me in, fool!"

Kicking in Ken Elzinga’s door and rushing in screaming “LET ME IN YOUR CLASS YOU FOOLISH DUDE” will certainly make a lasting first impression, but I doubt it will win you friends or influence Mr. Elzinga to offer you a spot in his class. :D

You may want to come up with a more subtle approach for trying to get into one of his Econ 201 sections.

For the record, I doubt that either will prove effective. You’ll probably have to sign up for someone else’s section, or wait until next fall to take it with Mr. Elzinga.

Haha, I got a good chuckle out of that.

Yeah, if I ever got a recommendation from Elzinga I'm sure it would be along the lines of "The first time I met jask925 left a lasting impression. He was quite assertive and felt free to say what was on his mind."
