So I may have the possibility of hiring a college consultant , to help me with the whole admission process , since I'm an international student , I thought it may be helpful , or would it be a waste of money ?

Only if they have experience in the US admissions process for people from your country. It would be even more ideal if they also have experience in getting students from your high school with similar stats as you into colleges that are of the most interest to you. If you are a junior or younger and will enter in Fall of 2014, then you should be able to have enough time to learn yourself what you need to do, including by reading advice on this website.

If money is not a concern and they are reputable, it can’t hurt to get their opinion on what they suggest for you, given your GPA/rank/SAT/ACT stats and your study area.

Apparently they’re pretty good at it I know how the admission process works but I couldn’t manage to do all that by myself here in Italy So I’ll maybe give it a try Thank you :)

If they’re good, it will be extremely helpful to you.

I personally wouldnt spend the money.

This consultant used his impressive credentials and Harvard faculty appointment to scam an international family that had unlimited funds to obtain an advantage. Caveat emptor.
