ive been wondering this. After i completed 9th grade, i took a course in a community college over the summer. Does this college course count toward my UC GPA?

<p>yes, it does and it will help your GPA immensly. I don't know why they don't encourage more high school students to take college courses at a jc during the summer. Its easy, cheap (my son paid 10 dollars and the cost of the book) and it counted as a AP course on his transcripts. He took an on-line course, so he only went to class once a week, the rest of the time was on the computer.</p>
<p>And he is ahead one class when he gets to college!</p>
