college courses on USC app...

where do i put them? it only gives you the option of labeling your courses IB and AP...so do they consider community college courses to be the equivalent of regular high school courses? or are they just going to see it from my college transcript that i send in

Oh, weird, they don't have a section for college courses? I seem to remember they did...but then again, I filled out 10 different applications.

NO, do NOT put your community college classes with your high school classes. You should call admissions to ask if there's a section on the app for the CC classes, but if not, they'll just go by your transcript. It really shouldn't be a problem.

What about honors classes? would those be counted as regular CP classes as well? Or should I list Honors whatever class in the blanks below?

Yeah, put down "Honors English II" or whatever.

thanks much

so um...i called USC a couple of hours ago and they said that I'm supposed to enter my community college as a college I've attended in addition to my high school. I was under the impression that if I did this they would treat me as a transfer studen even though I'm applying freshman, but I guess not?

no, the criteria for transfer is that you've taken college courses after graduating high school. As long as they were taken prior to graduation you're not a transfer.

Therefore, you should do what they said.

Oh yeah, I KNEW there was a section for college courses! :) I'm not getting old yet...
