<p>Are AP classes considered college courses? If I only take AP without taking community college classes, is my schedule considered to be rigorous?</p>
<p>If you take the hardest courses at your school every time it’s possible (whether it be AP, IB, honors, etc.), then you are considered to have a rigorous schedule. It’s kind of like black diamonds in snow sports - there is no absolute standard for a black diamond - it’s all relative to the surrounding terrain. Likewise, there is no absolute standard for a rigorous high school schedule; it’s all relative and contextualized to the courses available at your HS.</p>
