I was on the Penn website and saw the information regarding college credit for certain AP courses as long as you scored a 5. It says that for these courses you are granted 1 credit unit.

Here's my question: Is each course at Penn worth 1 credit unit? How many courses do Freshman typically take during their first semester, and is each course worth 1 credit unit?

Thanks!

classes are 0.5 to 2 credit units, but the majority are just 1

and college (sas) freshmen usually take 4-5 classes, all other schools usually take 5

I'm still kind of confused... I'm in CAS and I got a 5 on BC calculus.. does this mean that I can be done with calculus.. or even math? prays. I plan on doing the BBB major..

You might still need to take/want to take a Stat class.
