"SAT & ACT</p>
<p>Students may earn credit for Freshman Composition and Rhetoric (ENC 1101) by earning a 650 on the verbal portion of the SAT or a 29 on the English section of the ACT. ENC 1101 is the first of two semesters of a required Liberal Studies sequence.*</p>
<p>Students who score a 680 on the mathematics portion of the SAT or a 30 on that section of the ACT earn credit for College Algebra (MAC 1105). This course fulfills three of the six hours of the Liberal Studies mathematics requirement.*</p>
