I know their are other threads like this but their mostly for schools with deadlines of January 1st and I'm not sure if the same rules apply. I sent in my applications to colleges that I'm applying to early action yesterday but so far only 1 of my teachers (out of 3, I asked plus my boss) have sent in a Recommendation (I asked everyone about a month ago) and also My guidance Counselor hasn't sent in anything (regarding the school report and recommendation). My question is if they don't send in the Recommendations and School Reports by tonight will the Colleges not accept/ receive them because they were sent in after the deadline?I hope this is not the case because I'm skeptical my teachers and guidance counselor will send it in by 12 tonight
Thank You in Advance,
DJ2015

My DD is still waiting for a teacher rec for a midnight deadline…and for a teacher she asked last spring and provided requested information early in September. It is frustrating indeed. But she has been told on multiple occasions that the schools will accept the late reports/recommendations since it is out of the control of the student. That said - if everything has not been submitted by Monday, contact your guidance counselor/teachers and get a firm answer on when they will be done. Then contact the colleges directly to provide the information. It seems that overall - it all gets done it is just an unnecessary stress for you!

Thank you so much I was starting to get stressed hopefully they submit everything by tonight but if not I’ll definitely get some firm answers Monday Good Luck with your DD’s College Applications

My suggestion is to follow up with a very nice note to your teachers and counselor with a bullet list of the deadlines.

And resend them the links to any recommendation form.

Thanks Scubadive I resent the recommendation form last night but I’ll resend again today if they dont send in the recs
and ill get to work on the deadline list email
