College Decision Help | Colleges w/ good connections to tech companies? | USNA, Embry-Riddle.....

Im a rising senior this year (Class of 2021) and I want to go to school for engineering.
I’m not sure specifically if I want to do Electrical or Mechanical, but I know i’m interested in Power systems/controls or the Energy Industry.

Anyway, me personally; I’m in the recruiting process for Track and Field and I’m really interested in these schools that coaches have reached out to me: George Washington University, Embry-Riddle (Daytona Beach), or USNA.
Aside from that I would also like to know anybody’s input on listing or informing me about colleges with rigorous engineering programs that have good connections/pipelines to notable companies.

1st Question: List of engineering schools you’d refer ^^?

2nd Question: How good is Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Engineer? Is this school only best or Aviation specific degrees/careers.

3rd Question: ^ Same for GWU, I know that it has a good Law/Business program, as well as Medicine related fields. What about more technical engineering outside of Health?

NOTE I know how good of an opportunity it is to be able to attend USNA and be able to compete in athletics. But as a woman I feel its also a big commitment to make, while I’m unsure about the 5 years of service, all while wanting to be able to have relationships and start a family.

The USNA is the school for those who want to be officers in the US Navy. If that is not your desire, or you are unsure, that may not be the school for you. Obviously, its pipeline to employment is directly to the US Navy.

If USNA academy is on your list, then think about the Coast Guard Academy. Admission is somewhat easier than USNA or USMA because admissions is not restricted to Congressional recommendations. But the academics at USCGA are quite rigorous, in addition to the military regimen. Much harder than the other military academies, or so say the USCGA Cadets.
