College Decision help (please?)

Alright guys I got into a bunch of schools and i'm just looking for people's opinions on which they'd pick and why. Any constructive comments and any help will be VERY Appreciated! Thanks in advance :-)

I want to double major in econ and neuroscience, or econ and biochemistry. So sciences and econ are a focus (haha focus at a liberal arts college, sounds shady hehe).

I got into Wesleyan (University Scholarship recipent, I think 10 in every entering class get this), Colgate, Penn State Honors, Lafayette, and University of Rochester. I have no IDEA where i'm headed next year.

Thanks for sending some information and advice my way :-)

Oh I forgot to mention that the academics are really important to me, but I don't want to be working ALL the time. A good social atmosphere is always a plus if you have time after hitting the books :-)

Also diversity, in thought and form, is also something i'd like to have on campus.

Whoops, sorry, i'll take this to the other forum, i put it on the wrong one!

congrats on ur achievement!

go to wesleyan. newsweek named it the Hottest College for Diversity (forget which decision)

great academics + fun= GO

I would choose Wes in a heartbeat. Ultimately, however, the decision must come down to what YOU feel. Have you visited these schools?

I've visited Wesleyan, Rochester, Lafayette, and I just spent a few days at penn state two weeks ago.

I was thinking about visiting Colgate soon because of the schools in the 'elite' liberal arts they're giving me the best finaid package. They're giving me 7k over what wesleyan is, which is slightly annoying. I guess I can deal with it though, even though it's all grant money. The Scholars program at wes might make up for it, hopefully. Still looking for some advice, thanks a lot and keep it coming.

Can you keep opinions and reasons with your choice? thanks a lot, i can't tell you how much i appreciate this :-)

My D is a freshman and loves Wes. The academics are excellent. This semester all of her classes have < 20 kids and are taught by full professors.

The neuroscience department at Wes is supposed to be outstanding, with opportunities for undergraduate research.

Social life is plentiful, varied and fun.
