Just about every college/university in the country has a weight room and soccer team and healthy options in the dining halls. As for money, one good place to start is in the Financial Aid Forum here. Look for more threads there like this one: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/financial-aid-scholarships/848226-important-links-automatic-guaranteed-merit-scholarships.html

You do not need to re-take the ACT a bazillion times. Thorough preparation should make your score go up enough so that you only need to re-take it once. See CC’s own Xiggi on exam prep for a time-proven do-it-yourself program: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/68210-xiggis-sat-prep-advice.html This works for ACT as well as for SAT.

In Alabama, Auburn probably is the only public university that offers Nutrition. Before you go chasing out of state options, sit your parents down and talk about where the money for your education is going to come from. Auburn may turn out to be your best deal.

Good luck!
