I'm currently a senior in high school from Michigan interested in majoring in biology during college. After college I hope to become a dentist. Right now, I'm not too financially depressed where I can only attend cheaper colleges. I'm wondering what college has the best pre-dental program or placement into dental school.

So far I've gotten into:

Michigan State University
University of Kentucky (Honors Program pending)
University of Wisconsin-Madison
Marquette University (13k scholarship)
University of Oregon
University of Tennessee
Baylor University (54k scholarship)
University of Nebraska-Lincoln ($9680 scholarship)

I'm waiting to hear from

Wake Forest University
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor
University of Miami (FL)
University of Southern California
University of Washington-Seattle

I'm wondering where is the best place to go overall academically considering I want to do pre-dentistry. Anything help!

Thanks!

Go where you can get the highest gpa and save your money for dental school.

Did you apply to Marquette Pre-Dental Scholars? You have direct admit to Dental school and finish in seven instead of eight years. Here is the link (apply by Feb. 15) - [Pre-Dental Scholars Program | Marquette University](Pre-dental Scholars Program // Undergraduate Admissions // Marquette University)

I already checked that out and I don’t think I’ll be applying.

Go where you can save the most money and has the highest grade inflation. Where you go undergrad has so much less importance in dental school admissions than what your GPA is. Save as much as you can for grad school.

54K scholarship would make up my mind.

Where did you end up going? Also what were your stats? Like gpa sat/act scores?
Sorry to dig up an old post but I’m applying in the fall with predental in mind and I want to know if I have a chance

The OP last posted over a year ago. Don’t post on old threads.
