Hello, I am a senior from New Jersey who needs some advice regarding my college options. I have about 10 schools that I am applying to, the most notable of which is Vanderbilt. I visited in the summer and absolutely loved it and am now considering applying ED. I am unsure of what I what want to major in but I was thinking Business or Statistics. The only issue is that Vanderbilt does not offer either of these as a major. They have business as a minor and a major in mathematics that includes statistics but not an actual statistics major. I am conflicted on what to do as I love the school but am not sure what I would study there. I was accepted into Pitt’s honors college and could see myself there as well. I am also applying to Wake Forest, Richmond, UNC, UVA, and a few other schools. I guess why question is this: is it worth going to a school that I am unsure if they have a major I want? I could go to Pitt (and a few other schools) and be happy but I really like Vanderbilt and it is the best school on my list. I’ll post my numbers below so hopefully that will give you an idea of where I’m at. Thanks in advance.
