It’s not easy to transfer to GT. I would not pick a school based on which one would be better to transfer from. I would pick a school that he would be happy graduating from. Since you are in Georgia he will should have the Zell Miller scholarship that pays for free tuition at Georgia public colleges for all kids who graduate with at least a 3.7. Based on that I would seriously consider UGA it’s got to be a lot cheaper than out of state tuition.
What is the matter with UGA? It’s an excellent school.
Too late for this situation…but always always make copies of things you submit. And always always follow up to see that they have been received.
Georgia Tech has some very specific pathways to transfer from another Georgia school to Georgia Tech.

i had a very important document to transmit earlier this week. I emailed it, faxed it, and also hard-copy mailed it. For future reference, it may be wise to cover your bases like that.
Because it’s not all about scores.
What else?
For admissions? Letters of reference, GPA, essays, other accomplishments that compliment the major.
What is the different after graduated between UGA and GT?
They are both excellent universities. Your student can have a very good education, and potential career from either school.
Is that your question?
Maybe OP’s son didn’t really want to go to GT and self-sabotaged? One of my kids did that with a school he just couldn’t see himself attending. Two teachers gave him LORs to mail and he never did. I found them in his backpack after he graduated. (He was right about the school, too.)
Sorry, the GT door is closed.
The good thing is that the school isn’t the world. The life is long, sometimes the bad thing’ll turn the good things, the good thing’ll turn to bad things. Who knows.
Any way, thank you for help.
Be happy!
We are luck!
Good luck!
