How much of a factor does college difficulty play in transfers? I’m a freshman at NYU Poly with a GPA of 3.6. I plan on applying next year. Although, engineering majors are tough at all schools, Poly is known for how rigorous it is. Would it give me an advantage if I maintain the same GPA, over someone with a higher GPA but a less rigorous school?
Dont think so honestly. Aside from extremely rigorous places like JHU or ivys vs local community colleges.
