College doesn't use new SAT scores?

I’m applying ED to Connecticut College and on their website they state that “Although we will look at scores from the new SATs, we will not utilize them while making decisions this year.” What does that mean exactly? I got a much better score on the new SAT than on the old one so do I just not submit any SAT score at all?

This is what I found on the Conn College website:

"Connecticut College is test optional and therefore does not require applicants to submit test scores for review.

We offer first-year applicants four options with regard to testing. Indicate your preference on the Connecticut College member page of the Common Application.

SAT Reasoning Test (current or redesigned SAT, essay is not required)
ACT (writing component is not required)
Two SAT Subject Tests of your choice
No Tests"

You may want to call the school and ask them to clarify.

They are test optional - so you can choose not to send any.

The FULL paragraph from their website explains:
A new version of the SAT Reasoning test was introduced in Spring 2016. Although we will look at scores from the new SATs, we will not utilize them while making decisions this year. This is because concordance tables for the new SATs are based on just one administration of the new test; and because our interpretation of scores is based upon performance at the College upon enrollment, which will take a few years to gather. If you have any questions about our policy with regard to the new SATs, please contact the Office of Admission.

If you have more questions, you should contact them.
