College Elitists: "Do you know how well-educated I am?"

Youtube the following:
watch?v=1V2G0fyQgck

I might be wrong but I think most kids going to the top 10 or 15 schools are far from being 'elitist'.

lol ***

“i want a refund”

truly educated men do not boost about their education

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!

This basically made my day.

“How dare you think I was being profane!”
Lol wow…I have seen people like that before and they weren’t nearly as funny

Lol. But I kinda get where that girl was coming from now. Honestly, the train employee was just looking to pick a fight:

Asking her to get off the train for swearing?! Has she ever stepped outside her house?

Standing really close to her while ignoring her in a conversation with the other employee.

Getting extremely agitated over a faint touch of the backhand of the ‘educated’ passenger.

If a train employee treated me like that, lol I would punch his lights out if the employee were a guy, or tell her how petty she is for picking on random passengers if the employee were a girl.

She’s actually only an NYU graduate.

just an ivy/HYPSM wannabee smug grin

Are you implying that there’s something wrong with punching a girl’s lights out?

She wasn’t. She was doing the opposite by not entertaining the conversation at all. She was relieving the situation by directing her to the cops and customer service, aka doing her job.

She said what she had to say but the girl kept going on and on to a point where the conductor said she wasn’t going to continue the conversation. She only ignored her AFTER she became loud and irate.

Some people just don’t like being touched. And the way the girl was touching the conductor implied for her to stop moving and listen to her when the conductor clearly stated she’s not entertaining the conversation. If you look at 1:20 she puts her hands on her because she wants her to stop and listen to her self-righteous defense as if what she was going to say was above the situation. (“You listen to me when I’m speaking to you!”)

If you listen to the background, you can hear the other passengers.
“Well if you’re not being profane you’re definitely being loud, I’ll give you that much.”
“What does a being well-educated have to do with anything?”

There wasn’t an insinuation of a fight. The conducter = professional. It’s actually quite sad how you can she the girl slowly breaking by paying attention to her choice of words:
“Do you think I’m some kind of hoodlum? Where do you think I was homeraised?”
“Could you please repeat the words that I was being profane with?”
“I am not a crazy person I am a very educated person” LOL

The girl was clearly out of line. Once she put her hands on the conductor she knew she made a mistake which was why she basically ushered herself out of the train because she knew was wrong.

Who will ever make the sandwiches if she’s knocked out?!

^who has the link to another video?

it’s there, just type in “Hermon Raju” in the search bar.

Ah, elitism; the logical lapse of the allegedly “higher” beings. Looks like it’s time for the Revolution.

Joking aside, I wish I could see the video. Just my luck, it conks out before I can watch.

They re-uploaded it here: [YouTube: Educated loudmouth on the Metro North Railroad](<a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube)

That’s just great.

Hahahahahahahahaha

No, the train employee was not “just looking to pick a fight.” Some comically arrogant people just think they can treat everyone else like garbage (especially service workers it seems) just because of their alma mater.

By the way, only claim you’d assault someone if you actually would (DreamingBig LOL). Your post was silly enough as it was.

Thumbs up to whoever caught this on video.

She’s cute. :)

I’m on her side.

^ seriously? (to both your statements) :P

I honestly felt embarrassed watching this woman shriek hysterically about her education - clearly she hasn’t learned much, including the basics of how to remain dignified in public. Just goes to show you can buy a fancy degree, but ya can’t buy class :)

I go to NYU, and sadly, I notice this type of entitled behavior a lot, and it’s embarrassing. The “I’m better than you” attitude seems particularly common amongst the Business School students, like Hermon Raju…no surprise there.

Also, this woman is currently unemployed, and it’s going to be hard for her to get a job when a quick search of her name online reveals dozens of articles, blogs, and videos mocking her online. I feel kinda bad for her…
