How do I make one? I matriculated yesterday, so I figure I'm now eligible to get an account (and thus be able to join the Stanford facebook network hahaha-which I've seen plenty other '13ers do by now so it has to be available). I just don't see where to do it.

id like to know the answer to this too …

i made an axess back in december and confirmed enrollment. but webmail still doesnt work

just kidding it works now.

hippo, if you have an axess account, wait a few days and go to

webmail.stanford.edu

@gregh313

Have you accepted the offer of admission yet?

^Thanks!

I’m not sure why they don’t make it more obvious/acessable.

Just one question: It’s normal that as of now it says error when I try to log into webmail right? That’s why I have to wait a few days, for it to register me?

yeap.

and yes, you have to wait a few days after confirming admission, not making an axess acount. sorry about that.

Do we need to pay extra money for the college e-mail account?

No, it’s free. And it lasts until a few months after you graduate.

We don’t keep these email addresses permanently? :((

Ok, so its been almost a week since I’ve enrolled and whenever I try to log into webmail.stanford.edu it keeps saying “login error.” So I still don’t have an email. Am I doing something wrong? It seems that all the other people who matriculated were able to get their email accounts relatively quickly.
I can log into Axess and the admitted student’s site just fine, it’s jut webmail that’s giving me a problem.

^^Maybe they’ve had a huge amount of people enroll recently and are trying to upload everything onto the system? I dunno. My parents won’t let me officially enroll until Admit weekend, I’m sad…:D! haha. not really, but it’s still more waiting!
