The last four classes’ enrollment numbers are

class 2014: 1414
class 2015: 1411
class 2016: 1527
class 2017: 1426

Four years total is 1414+1411+1527+1426=5778 which is close to the currently enrolled number of 5741.

I am not sure if those enrollment numbers have included the transfer students which are not very large (20 or so per year).

Considering the turn over rate is low (98%-99% freshman retention rate and 92% six year graduation rate) I think the transferred in and dropped out numbers are a wash out.

It is clear that the college wants to enroll ~1400 students per class. They have been close to that number except over enrolled ~100 for class 2016. For class 2017 it was said the college had 1479 commits in May. But eventually only 1426 have enrolled - it worked out somehow.

Looking around its peer institutions a undergraduate student body of 5600 is in the middle of the pack, probably will be in that way for a foreseeable future.
