For Apply Texas Topic C, should my essay be story like or should be in general?
Story Like: “Someone in the train station gave me a ticket etc”, going on with story theme
OR
“In General”: “If I had a ticket, i would go to etc”
Which should I choose?
Whichever one you think would lead to a better essay. Both are acceptable.
Actually would the story like essay have to be true?
I like the first option, where you’re creating a story that you’re in, rather than the second, where you’re telling ABOUT a story. The first is show, the second is tell. Generally dramatizing the story makes it a better read than just telling about something. But neither is right or wrong. I assume in a given fictional situation you can make up the story. The key though would be to make it truly applicable to yourself, since the point is to show them who YOU are.
Good luck!
