<p>Describe the world you come from for example, your family, community or school and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations.</p>
<p>Indicate a person who has had a significant influence on you, and describe that influence.</p>
<p>Those two essay prompts I will be using for an idea I have. I was thinking about writing about my mother's breast cancer that happened 7 years ago... And I know that when I discuss something like this, I have to emphasize how this illness shaped ME as a person. </p>
<p>I'll be discussing things like staying positive, working for benefit of others, adapting to difficult situations, and maximizing your potential and being the best I can be cuz honestly, we don't know when we are going to die. Might as well work our hearts out for the people we love. </p>
<p>What do you guys think? Cliched, overused (most people will probably say this essay will come down to my writing style...). Any thoughts, suggestions?</p>
<p>Also, what do you guys think about the essay topic on being the first generation in America and basically forging a path for posterity and my younger siblings. Like swimming in a murky water till I find light or something like that.</p>
