Sorry if I'm in the wrong thread/location, this site bewilders me.
Georgetown's essay says:
In the space available discuss the significance to you of the school or summer activity in which you have been most involved.

Can I talk about music? I'm a musician. I would love to start with a bit in narrative because I'm good at writing stylistically, but I don't know if that would be appealing or not.

Thanks!

You may want the College Essays subforum. And of course you can write about music, though I’m not sure about the style in which it’s supposed to be written - that’d be a good question for the other subforum.

Hey, entering Georgetown freshman here!

Your topic is fine. I talked about cheerleading and how I feel like everywhere I go there are cheerleaders, lol. I definitely think starting with a narrative will be interesting. If I recall, this was a short essay so don’t stress it too much.

Hope I helped. Good Luck!
