College essay requirement?

Over the summer, I will be writing my college essay(s). However, I can’t find the prompts on some of the websites. These are the colleges:

Binghamton
California Inst of Tech
Carnegie Mellon Univ
UConn
Fordham Univ
Georgia Inst of Tech
Johns Hopkins Univ
MA Inst of Tech 
Rochester Inst of Tech
Stanford Univ
SUNY Stony Brook
Virginia Tech
Worcester Polytechnic Inst

Any specific essay guidelines for any listed? Thanks!

For carnegie mellon you have to write a page about why the chosen major is good for you

I would go ahead and write your common app first

Step 1: type in the following: college name here essay prompts 2015-2016

Step 2: if you cannot find the prompt for the 2015-2016 school year, check to see if the college only uses Common Application Essays

Step 3: if the college doesn’t do Common App, check to see if previous years (2014-2015, 2013-2014, etc) have had the same essay prompts.

Step 4: if you still can’t find them, try either (1) waiting until later in the summer when some colleges might release them or (2) email the college directly (only do this if you know FOR CERTAIN that they haven’t released the information, though)
