<p>i just started writing my college essay but i am confused about the topic i discussed in the essay. i wrote about my slacking off earlier in high school and how it cost me good grades. then i talked about my regret and anger about failure which permanently changed me. i explained that i worked real hard from then on and got accepted in the admission test of one of the very best universities in my country and that I'll always work hard from then. i got accepted in a business school but i want to study science in the states. </p>
<p>i focused more on the pain, regret and anger that i faced which changed me. i wrote in a very convincing way. </p>
<p>is it okay to write on this topic?</p>
