College Essay?

I have a few ideas for college essays, but I wanted CCs opinions first. Im torn and cant really decide which topic I like the most.

Topic #1. My experience with the Youth Orchestra- Starting from the least advanced ensemble and working up to the top, and my experience helping them with a grant.

Topic #2. My experience with the bank and my dad. When my Dad was the custodial on my bank account, the balance was lowering every other month, unknown to me, until I received a notice saying my balance was close to having my account closed...

Topic #3. Fighting off two major viruses at the same time and missing 2 weeks of school, but not allowing my GPA/Rand to suffer.

:~“bump”~:

first one.

Yeah definitely the first. Alot more room for showing your personal growth and development as well as skills and experience you’ve picked up

Okie Dokie, Thanks!

I vote for the first one too.

Definitely don’t write three. I feel that both one and two have good potential. Two is a sensitive topic, and if you succeed in writing it well, it’ll definitely stick out in the admissions official’s head as a memorable essay! If you can get him/her to sympathise with you, through the emotional/physical suffering caused as a result of this incident, I’d dare say it’d be one heck of an essay!

Go for TWO!
