<p>How far would you say you would draw from your experiences for college essays?</p>
<p>Just high school? Middle School? Maybe even elementary school?</p>
<p>High school was okay for me, pretty cool. Middle school was a black pit of hatred. I have nothing good to say about it. And I was very fond of elementary school despite the many challenges of being a little kid.</p>
<p>I think you can use experiences from any phase of your life.</p>

<p>As far as you want. How far doesn’t matter, it’s your take on it and how it shows you that matters. Mine was from middle/high school.</p>
<p>I am using my work experience for this essay but I keep thinking it is too boring. I want to talk about my volunteer experience which I think it would be more fun. But I wonder if all the stuff I’ve done at work (politics, economy) will give me a better chance than to talk about my volunteer experience. Any suggestions?</p>
