I know they aren't really POWERFUL SAT scores. But I do generally well in a very tough high school (international student, by the way).

Was wondering if any of you have any colleges that you think fit me. Yes I'm applying for Financial Aid and I will be taking SAT I and II again but for now, with those scores, know any schools that I have somewhat good chance of getting into? Please, I'm really worried. Kthxbai.

There are so many American universities that it’s hard to make recommendations when the sole requirement is aid. Here, many students begin by asking “Do I really need a school better than my state university?” But that won’t work for you. You may want to read the CC Financial Aid forum, and perhaps the Parents Forum also. After all, the latter are the ones who typically worry most about paying for college. Good luck.

Why don’t you try a college search tool online. College confidential has a basic search and you can also try myUsearch.com, petersons.com or collegeboard.com. Hope that helps.

There are many, many schools that you could get into with those scores if you have a solid GPA to match. What parts of the country geographically are you interested in? How large or small a school? How important is being close to a major city?

If you are an international student seeking financial aid your options are much more limited. There are a lot of threads for international students needing financial aid to attend US colleges…if you do a quick search on here you will find them and you will find the information that you need.
