Can someone rank the college fly-in programs in order of selectivity? Include Reed Overnight Multicultural Experience, that's what I'm interested in.

Anytime a college is willing to expend large $ to have you just take a look, you can be guaranteed it’s selective. Frankly, what diff will it make if they fly-in 10 or 100 students? That will only be a representation of how much budget they have.

If you have more than one offer, consider yourself highly courted! Good luck.

My D is attending fly-ins at Bowdoin, Williams, Amherst, Pomona and Carleton. She feels really lucky and happy to have the opportunity to get such a close look at the campus, and hasn’t even investigated how selective they are. You will be better served by evaluating the schools you visit according to your own impressions not a ranking. If you are going by a ranking you don’t need to visit. T26E4 is right: any student attending a fly-in at the expense of the college is in a rare and privileged position. Love the school that loves you.
